Back in 1985 in Buenos Aires, I was 18 years old. After a few tough years of struggling with my reckless temper and trying to figure out how to be my own boss, a friend invited me to a live concert.
That night, I found a huge piece of my life that had been missing. I realized the only way to truly reach God was by letting Jesus be my Lord and Savior. Just a few hours after I handed over the steering wheel of my future to Him, a wonderfully kind group of people took me under their wing. At the Flores Baptist Church in Buenos Aires, I started walking a new path, led by Jesus every step of the way.
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. 1 Peter 1:10
Just a few days after I put my life in Jesus' hands, I started attending church. Right away, our pastor, Daniel, put me to work! I was put in charge of designing and printing our church bulletin, and after some basic training, I was asked to be a Sunday school teacher for the kids.
Little by little, I got more and more involved in different areas—not just in my local church, but also with the city-wide youth group for all of Buenos Aires. That led to helping out at national conferences and meetings, and even pitching in on the construction of the new church building.
At the same time, I was finishing my professional training in graphic design and printing, and I also served 18 months in national military service. After a few years of learning and leading in my local church, 1989 brought something extra special: at a local church gathering, I met Viviana. She has been my wonderful wife ever since.
Always ask God to amaze me—and He always does! After I met Viviana, our shared focus was to serve God together, and we did. We served in the church and with the Youth Group Association. Then, God sent me an opportunity to get a great job on a cruise ship traveling all the way from Alaska to Brazil! That job was a huge blessing and gave us the money we needed to get married.
In 1991, we started our marriage and also started working together in our business, ViLetras Signs and More.
Not long after, God blessed us with our first son. Following a few really hard years due to Argentina's economy, we received incredible blessings: our second son was born, and we were actually given our land completely as a gift!. We paid nothing for it!
We stepped way out of our comfort zone, moving 50 kilometers away from our home church. We didn't have much money, but we made a great trade: we got eight trucks full of construction materials in exchange for our labor to build a massive 35-meter-long sign. The land was completely empty when we arrived, but we were full of dreams and ready to build our own house with our own hands.

Since we first started back in 1991, we have faced our share of trials and struggles—learning a new language, adapting to new places, and meeting new people. Nothing was ever easy, even after spending over seven years in Spain and later moving to the UK. We know that some words can sound great on their own, but faith requires action.
